This park that you see in the pictures was built in the 70's of last century. It was named in honor of the kids who died heroically in World War II. Children aged 9-16 of the Soviet Union joined the Pioneer organization and were called pioneers. They fought against Nazi invaders as adults.
This is a small park. There are just a few benches and several monuments. Beside a park there are the Palace of Children's Creativity and Palace of Culture.
