The Transfiguration Cathedral in Kirovograd

The Transfiguration Cathedral was built in style of classicism as the main Orthodox church in the city. There are beautiful sculptures of angels, a chapel with a bell and a large Easter egg in the courtyard of the cathedral. We did not take pictures inside the cathedral, but there is also very beautiful.

Olexandriya train station

Olexandriya train station

Today is a sunny day and I visited the train station to get a few shots there. Station was rebuilt about fifteen years ago and we have a modern and bright building now. Train passes is not often at this time of the day therefore do not be surprised that there are almost no people at the station. Historical monument stands in front of the station which is called "Vladimir Lenin talks to a soldier of the Red Army". Because the railway was built here during the first years of Soviet rule in the country.

Photos of some of schools

School Gymnasium

Olexandria schools and other education institutions have large buildings. Virtually all schools are state-owned in our country. Therefore the program of education is the same everywhere. Children study in classrooms of 20-30 students. I also studied at one of these schools. It was a fun time!
