Wrestler tree

One day I was walking through an abandoned park and saw this picture. A tree behaved as a wrestler. It rushed to a birch tree which stands next and tried to knock its down. Of course, time of the trees flows much slower than time that people live. In our opinion this wrestling throw lasts for several years. However, I do not know that trees feel and why they want to fight. I got these pictures and moved on.

Olexandriya train station

Today is a sunny day and I visited the train station to get a few shots there. Station was rebuilt about fifteen years ago and we have a modern and bright building now. Train passes is not often at this time of the day therefore do not be surprised that there are almost no people at the station. Historical monument stands in front of the station which is called "Vladimir Lenin talks to a soldier of the Red Army". Because the railway was built here during the first years of Soviet rule in the country.

Olexandria schools and other education institutions have large buildings. Virtually all schools are state-owned in our country. Therefore the program of education is the same everywhere. Children study in classrooms of 20-30 students. I also studied at one of these schools. It was a fun time!

Funny pictures of vehicles

Today I walked along the road and found the entertainment: I shot on my camera passing by cars. This idea came to me when I saw a beautiful tractor Case Magnum 310. Then I tried to take pictures in continuous shooting mode. To my surprise, photos of bus that passing by turned out well. In the same way I got pictures of road service and postal service vehicles.

Fabulous sculptures outside a cafe

Cafe "Anthill" is extremely popular among youth of our town. However, there is no ants in it. But there are wonderful sculptures on the outside. Green bipedal dinosaur stands near the fountain. Great crocodile lies beside him and served as a bench for visitors to cafe or passersby. Fairy dwarf greets visitors with a smile. And the most amazing sculptural composition depicts a scene from a fairy tale about Kotigoroshko. Kotigoroshko was a boy who defeated the three-headed dragon.

Private houses in the town where I live

Although the people in Olexandria town live mainly in apartment buildings, many people want to live in private homes. Especially since the construction of apartment buildings in the town has now ceased. The construction companies began to build private houses and cottages instead. People often build their houses at their own project, some of which look very peculiar.

Pioneer Park in Olexandria

This park that you see in the pictures was built in the 70's of last century. It was named in honor of the kids who died heroically in World War II. Children aged 9-16 of the Soviet Union joined the Pioneer organization and were called pioneers. They fought against Nazi invaders as adults.

This is a small park. There are just a few benches and several monuments. Beside a park there are the Palace of Children's Creativity and Palace of Culture.

Black Sea Views from Foros

I still sort photos made in Foros in September. This time I chose a few pictures of the surface of the Black Sea. I like long look at the endless sea. This is something fascinating. I like to look at the waves and floating boats, listen surf noise and think about infinity. This is really cool! Perhaps I should travel to the sea more often.

Pictures of my town

I live in the town called Alexandria. Here also live about 70 thousand residents. These photos were taken in different places of our town. There are apartment buildings in downtown. And on outskirts right on the streets you can see grazing cows. Here are beautiful nature and mild climate.

Flooded rock quarry

There is an abandoned rock quarry near our town. It was flooded about fifty years ago. The water level in here is increasing every year. Now it is a beautiful lake. We often go here in the summer to stay in silence and to take a swim. Pine and deciduous trees grow near the shores of this artificial lake. Here a beautiful and romantic place.

Outdoor table for eight persons from my friends

My friends and I often make furniture at our small factory. I usually create a drawing on a computer and then guys are making details and building furniture. Picture above shows the outdoor table which can accommodate eight persons. Guys are performing an assembly of outdoor table in the photos below. Look how easy they do it! Table planks are attached just 28 bolts. We sell this outdoor furniture for $60 per unit in our region. It is considered that it isn't expensive.

Welcome to car racing

Car races are held in our town every year. Local stars and racers from nearby towns usually take part in these races. Inhabitants of my town enjoy visiting races. Have you ever been on race cars? This is a stunner! The roar of dozens of cars is breathtaking. Cars beat each other by, but the racers are fighting for victory despite the blows. Some car engines do not withstand heavy loads. And racers are leaving their cars covered by smoke.

Welcome to the Black Sea. Foros and Balaclava

We were in Foros in September. Foros is a resort town in Crimea on coast of Black Sea. We really enjoyed. There are many attractions in the vicinity of Foros.

We were in the many places and shot a lot of pictures. We have lots of photos from Foros and we did not sorted out all of them yet.
